Teodora Unleashes the Magic of “Nestinarska Nosht”
Teodora has unveiled the official video for her latest single, “Nestinarska Nosht” – the fourth release from Diapason Records project Folk Fusion: New Sounds of Bulgarian Folklore, supported by the EU (Next Generation) under NPVU – BG-RRP-11.020-0061-C01. The premiere aired simultaneously on Fen TV, Balkanika Music Television, Fen Folk TV, and BG Music Channel.
The track was composed by Teodora and Alex Nushev, who also crafted the arrangement. Teodora is deeply involved in the creative process and collaborated with lyricist Deshka Petrova to shape the song’s emotional core.
The idea for “Nestinarska Nosht” first emerged during the summer. Initially envisioned as a traditional folk piece, the song naturally evolved into a modern ethno fusion as the project progressed.
“The moment the melody came to me, it struck a powerful chord. I wanted something tender and beautiful, and the words just flowed,” Teodora shares.
She explains that the lyrical concept grew hand-in-hand with the music, and thanks to her strong creative chemistry with Petrova, the message was fully developed within just a few hours.
“It’s important for me to be part of every stage of creating my songs—they have to come from the heart. ‘Nestinarska Nosht felt different from the very beginning, and I hope it resonates with people the way it resonates with me,” she adds.
Teodora admits she feels completely at home in the ethno style and plans to continue exploring it in future projects.
The video marks her first collaboration with director Pavlin Ivanov -Bashmotion, known for his innovative visuals and strong attention to detail.
“I was really impressed by him and his team—such a creative mind with incredible ideas. I loved the concept the moment I saw the script. I’m very disciplined and always follow the director’s vision, and he made me feel comfortable on set throughout the entire shoot. I’m thrilled with the final result—it’s something truly different from anything I’ve done before,” Teodora says.
The dancers of Ballet New eX also appear in the video, adding dynamic energy and enhancing the overall emotional atmosphere.
Teodora’s look was crafted by Borislav Sokolov – Boni (makeup) and Emilio Stefano (hair), whose work contributed to the project’s strong visual impact.
