Mihaela Marinova’s new song “Serial” is chosen as the main musical theme in the film series “Patyat na chestta”
In recent years, music has established itself as a main character in the plot of each series, a delicate but important player with the potential to direct the emotional response of the audience to what is happening on the screen.
Guided by the idea of crossing interests between a super successful Bulgarian series such as “Patyay na chestta (“The Way of Honor”) on the one hand and a strong music team on the other, NOVA and Virginia Records join forces in the project “Serial” performed by Mihaela Marinova to launch a new type of partnership in support of Bulgarian music and Bulgarian cinema.
The song “Serial” was created by one of the most talented young composers in Bulgaria – Pavel Nikolov from the hip hop duo Pavell & Venci Venc ‘, with the help of Mihaela herself, whose magnificent vocals easily recreate the drama embedded in the sound and lyrics of the song. NOVA chooses “Serial” for one of the main musical themes for the second season of the series “Patyat na chestta”.
The action in the video for the song, co-produced by NOVA, Albion Films and Virginia Records, takes place directly on the set of the series, where Michaela plays the role of a bystander and an invisible witness to the fate of the characters played by actors Silvia Petkova. Ivaylo Zahariev, Orlin Pavlov, Sofia Marinkova and Galya Sarafova. Directors of the new episodes of the dramatic series, which will return this fall on television, are Viktor Bozhinov, Viktor Chuchkov and Stanislav Todorov – Rogi.
