Anca Pop still lives through her music

In December 2018 the Romanian artist Anca Pop tragically lost her life in a tragic accident only at the age of 34. Her car plunged into the Danube River and later she was found death.  About a month later her new single “Split the Bill” was released with a video.

The music and the lyrics of the single are done by the artist and is one of the three that the she was planning to present this year.

Anca Pop’s style was a fusion of Balkan and mainstream pop. In 2017 she released a self-titled album, which was a hit in Japan. She also collaborated with the popular Balkan musician Goran Bregovic for the album “Champagne for Gypsies”.
