ALMA with a new project “Far Faraway”
ALMA can’t complain about the lack of inspiration – she creates great new songs with enviable speed. After the rebellion in “My Mama Told Me”, now the young singer is ready with a beautiful love story entitled “Far Faraway”.
“This is a song about such a strong love that can take you to another distant dimension – happy, hassle-free and calm,” said ALMA.
The new single is based on music and lyrics by ALMA itself, and the arrangement is by Pavell. “During one of our studio sessions, ALMA came with the lyrics and melody. I liked the sound with the first chords she played on the piano. That’s why we immediately started arranging and recording the vocals. My admiration for ALMA and her talent with which she never ceases to surprise and inspire us! ”, he shared.
In addition to Bulgaria, “Far Faraway” will premiere in 16 other countries around the world, including South Korea, Russia, Poland and Hungary.
In the video, the director Dimitris Georgiev tells the love story of ALMA from two points of view – one is with the man she wants to be with, and the other is not there. Thus, two different worlds come to life in the video, which at one point intertwine, and sometimes merge into one. There is also an interesting opposition in the sound of the song, but musical – a partly melancholic beginning turns into a rhythmic and positive beat. ALMA’s partner in the video is one of her closest childhood friends, Noah Bay.
Among the biggest successes of ALMA is the award “Debut of the Year” for 2020 and 2 nominations from the Annual Music Awards of BG Radio, participation in one of the most spectacular singing competitions in Europe – Top of The Top Festival, # 23 in Shazam Russia, 2 weeks under # 8 in the official airplay chart in Poland, 16 consecutive weeks the most broadcast song on the radio and television in Bulgaria, over 3.3 million streams of her debut single “Perfect” on Spotify and reached 88 thousands of monthly listeners on the platform. Her latest song “My Mama Told Me” spent 3 consecutive weeks as # 1 in the airplay chart for Bulgarian songs in our country and 18 weeks in the top 10 on the chart.
