A night of music, emotions and the Bulgarian tricolor with Goran Bregovic
On September 24, 2025, the Arena 8888 hall became the scene of one of the most anticipated musical events – the concert of the Balkan legend Goran Bregovic.
The evening began with the energetic and colorful show of C’est La Vie Live Band & Show. An impressive program, with many familiar, beloved and dance performances, raised the mood of the audience in the hall. The Bulgarian brand Radapola additionally surprised those present with a fashion show – familiar models paraded in elegant dresses.
Amid the stormy applause of 10,000 people present in the hall, all the musicians from the legendary “Orchestra for Weddings and Funerals” appeared on stage. The brass musicians surprised the audience by playing right in the audience before taking their seats. The hall erupted in applause when Goran Bregovic himself, dressed in stylish white and true to his inimitable image, took the stage. The artist presented his program “The best of..”, which is part of his tour this year and receives standing ovations in Sydney, London, Chicago, Vancouver, Zagreb, New York, Madrid and many other major cities.
The Sofia audience immersed themselves in the magic of his greatest hits – “Balkaneros”, “Mesecina”, “Gas Gas”, “Ederlezi”, “Bella Ciao”, “Kalashnikov” and many others.
An integral part of his concerts for three decades are the folk singers Lyudmila and Daniela Radkovi. Their voices brought even more emotion and warmth to the spectacle of all Bulgarians, and for the grand finale, together with Bregovic, they waved the Bulgarian tricolor from the stage.
Goran Bregovic’s concert was much more than a musical event – it became a celebration of Balkan culture, filled with light, confetti, powerful rhythms and genuine emotion.
