SASA KOVACEVIC
Sasa Kovacevic was born July 27, 1985 in Belgrade, Serbia.
When he was five, his parents brought him and his older brother Rade to the music school “Kosta Manojlovic” to check if they had hearing. Sasa said that he has absolute hearing, but he had to wait a year to go to a music kindergarden. In the seventh year, he enrolled in that school, piano department. He trained basketball and kickboxing. He was a very good student and did not cause any problems. At the age of fourteen, he got the first keyboard that completely captured his attention.
In 2004 on Suncane Skale festival he presented “Pakao I raj”, but he was among the last. This was followed by the single “Jedina si vredela” which became a big hit and which drew attention to the young artist.
In 2005, he participated in the Radio Festival and performed the song “Korak do dna”.
In 2006, he recorded his first album for the production company City Records. In addition to the above-mentioned, the following songs stood out: “Lagala me il’ ne lagala” and “Ruka za spas”, which was declared the hit of the year.
In 2007, he received numerous awards for Discovery of the Year and Pop Singer of the Year. He performed at the festival in Vrnjacka Banja and won second place with the song “Lazu te”. He sang the song “Bolji covek” at the Radio Festival, which brought him victory.
In 2008, he recorded his first duet called “Jos ti se nadam” with Emina Jahovic.
In 2009, he was awarded the Singer of the Year and Duet of the Year awards.
In 2010, Sasa’s second CD was released, entitled “Ornament”. In 2011, he released two singles: “Bezimo iz grada, which became a real summer hit, and “Idemo do mene”, in which host Nikolina Ristovic whispers her part of the lyrics. On November 5 of the same year, in the ceremonial hall of the Madlenianum Theater, Sasa received a special recognition and a medal from the citizens of Zemun who are grateful for his engagement in the cultural and tourist promotion of this municipality.
In 2012, he promoted the songs: “Kako posle nas” and “Lapsus”, which were well received by the audience.
In 2013, he recorded music videos for three new songs: “Pisi propalo”, “Slucajno” and “Nothing but the faith”.
In 2014, he released the singles: “Mogli smo sve”, “Branim” and “Noc do podne”.
In 2015, he published the songs: “Gde smo, moja ljubavi”, “Rano je”, “Rodjendan” and “Zivimda te volim”.
In 2016, two songs were released: “Zamalo tvoj” and “Temperatura”.
In 2017, he released the song “Kazes ne” in Serbian and the Spanish version “Dices no”.
In 2018, Sasa launched two singles – “Bez tebe me nema” and “Jedra”.
In 2019 he release only one song “Prevarena”.
In 2020 he presented 4 brand new songs with music videos all filmed in Dominican republic. The four songs are: “Pantera”, “Moja malena”, “Afera” and “Ona”.
