Mihaela Marinova’s new project is being launched in 12 countries

“When I first met Mihaela, I knew she had the right set of qualities for a world career,” said the British star James Arthur when he came to Bulgaria in 2014 to sing with her in the finals of the third season of X Factor.

7 years later Mihaela Marinova has an impressive career as an artist and composer, a number of awards, 2 victories in music formats, an album, the status of one of the most successful Bulgarian singers with virtuoso vocal abilities, 7 singles that are were at the top of the Bulgarian charts and many others in TOP 5.

For some time now, Mihaela has been working with several foreign production teams, making steps towards international realization.

Her new project, entitled “Need You”, is the result of another collaboration with the Romanian hitmaker Monoir, whose label Thrace Music in the recent years has achieved stunning success in Turkey, Russia, India, Poland, Canada and others. Thrace Music is now working with Virginia Records to jointly launch Mihaela’s single worldwide.

“Need You” is a song created as part of the second edition of the Sofia Songwriting Camp, which took place in Borovets in early October. Besides Cristian Tarcea (Monoir) and Mihaela Marinova herself, among the authors of the song is the young Bulgarian author Vitali Ezekiev.

The director and screenwriter of the video, made by Albion Films, is Viktor Chuchkov.

“We have created two visual frames, two worlds – one real, smiling and positive during the day, and the other – night and mysterious, populated with the fabulous fantasy of Mihaela.”, he said.
