Alina Eremia sings abou the dependences of today’s world
One of the most successful artists and role model for the young generation in Romania, Alina Eremia, launched a new single, entitled “Dependenta Mea”.
The song talks about how we all find ourselves addicted to something and totally dependant. Most of the people have become addicted to the platforms of the social media. Social media has become a necessity since the pandemic began. All we are addicted to mobile phones out of the desire to stay connected to society.
““Dependenta Mea” is a single from my new album, “Déjà vu”, which will be released in the middle of next month. I wanted to illustrate through the video how we have become dependent on the illusion of the virtual space, so that reality no longer rises to the level of expectations. I want to thank the people I wrote the song with: Florian Rus, Sebastian Barac, Marcel Botezan and Alex Turcu, but also to the W team, Global Records and NGM Creative.”, said Alina Eremia.
The protagonist of the video“Dependenta Mea” is King, Alina’s dog. She appears in the story as if in a video game, waking to reality only at the end. Thus, she realizes how dependent she is.
Alina Eremia is one of the most beloved artists, with numerous songs that have been on the top positions of the musical charts for weeks. The refrains of the songs “Noi”, “Poarta-ma”, “Filme cu noi”, “De sticla”and “BRB”are well-known all over the country.
