Alina Eremia collaborates with Oscar
Alina Eremia collaborates with Oscar for the song “Umeri De Piatra”, one of the artist’s most unexpected musical projects this autumn. The lyrics of the song tell a story that most of us can relate to. A struggle between what we feel and the projections of others towards us that do nothing but discourage us.
At the same time, Alina Eremia released her first documentary – In Zadar: Behind the music – which presents the artist’s adventure alongside a good part of the top producers she has worked with over time and beyond. Zadar, Croatia, represents the place where the artist worked on her first EP of songs in English alongside producers from the UK, Romania and Australia. The entire documentary is available on YouTube on the artist’s channel, and very soon we will also be able to listen to the songs created in this field.
“I sang about love and all the ways of loving and being loved, all its facets, but often insecurities and fear wear the cloak of love. When feelings cloud reason, things begin to degenerate. Still listening to the demo after the session and hearing more and more stories that shook me, I also wanted to expose the sick side of relationships, because it is the reality in which we live.
According to the most recent data of the Agency for Fundamental Rights of the European Union, on average one in three women in the EU has been a victim of physical violence or expressions of domestic violence, which are often overlooked even by the victims. Wounds heal. The scars remain. Violence leaves traces.”, Alina Eremia said.
The track was written by Alina Eremia, Alex Parker and Marius Dia while Oscar completed the track with his rap part. Final production was done by Alex Parker. The video of the song was directed by Vlad Oancea and produced by Loops Production. The two protagonists of the video are Alina Eremia and Oscar, present in a boxing ring, portraying the idea of fighting and the signs that other people’s projections can leave on us.
